From time to time, you may have something you want to keep in a very specific spot in your inventory just so you never lose track of it. You do not want to accidentally move, sell, store, or delete it, after all. Well, we have come up with a solution. With a bit of magic and some luck sprinkled in, the Locked Inventory Slots were created to fit the bill. Having the ability to keep something in the very spot you intended it to be is always nifty.
Now, more on how this works:
- Items in bags can be locked with shift + right-click.
- Locked item slots will have a visible outline.
- The outline color can be changed in the Options Window > Chat > Items > Locked Slots and will also apply to the Locked Slots chat filter.
- If a bag's contents are put into another bag, anything in a locked slot will remain in the original bag.
- If the contents of a bag are sold, anything in a locked slot will not be sold.
- If a bag with locked slots is moved, even to the bank or shared bank, it will remember those locked slots.
- Items in locked slots can still be consumed, such as food, potions, etc.
- Items in locked slots can still be used, such as clickies.
- You can add-to stacks in locked slots.
- If a locked slot becomes empty for any reason, for example: a food stack is fully eaten, that item slot will be automatically unlocked.
- You can choose to include equipment from locked slots when loading equipment sets via personas or bandoliers.
- For personas, there is a new option in the Persona tab of the Inventory Window. It will use the setting chosen BEFORE the set is loaded.
- For bandoliers, there is a new option in the Bandolier Window.
- Like all locked slots, if the slot becomes empty through changing equipment sets, the slot will automatically unlock.
The Locked Inventory Slots feature is now available for use. Check it out in-game today!
