What is the best non-robe caster, soloing class? – discussion started by Community Member JabbCoR
I'm finding it very hard to get groups with both my 12 bard and 59 monk. The fact that I'm pretty much a newb again seems to be a major downfall of my monk finding a group. My bard, is fun. Soloing isn't to bad now, but if groups are still this much of a pain to get into. So, I'm looking for a decent non-robe caster or melee soloing class to play the game with.

But I was thinking, well, why am I limited to my guild hall? Why can buff timers be stopped in guild lobby as well? Is there a really good reason why buff timers tick down in the lobby? I've seriously tried to think of a good reason why the timers should count down in the lobby... but not in the hall?

I am interested in breaking into the casual raiding segment of EQ. My guild currently does not have enough players to work this in, as I have kept it in the non-ooc recruiting stage for several years (friends of friends only). I could join another guild; however, I prefer to box and the majority of guilds either do not permit boxing during raids or they have a limitation on the dkp point boxers can earn or spend. This leads me to the thought of expanding the recruitment options within my guild.

Progression in my mind, NtoV was the best. You knew if you saw Aryonar you were ready or not. The challenge was either serve yourself or be served and total hardcore. There was also multi layers that allowed for some gearing up in other wings to take down the main wing while following the storyline if you chose to do so through quests.
