Where in the real life world do you live?
Denver, CO

How long have you played EQ?
I first had my dad help me play by letting me use his character around 2003 and I started playing by myself in 2006 after my dad got this awesomely tricked out computer that he let me use. So I have been playing around 4 years, 1 if you consider playing alone.

What other MMOs have you played?
This free online game called RuneScape, but I got tired of it. Its graphics are nothing compared to EQ's.

What type of work do you do?
I am a volunteer at a horse stable and babysitter.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
It depends on what day. On weekends it can go to as long as 5 hours. On weekdays, it's usually ranging from 5 minutes to 3 hours.

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
One, I check on the status of my guild. Me and this other player switch off being leaders. Two, I try to finish the quest I am currently working on. Three, if the quest takes REALLY long I take a break from it and go around helping people or bash up some stuff in Shadeweaver's thicket or the Commonlands.

What was the race and class of your very first character?
My first character was a High Elf Magician. Got to level 11 and decided to try something else for a bit.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
My dad got me into gaming. He plays stuff like Half-life and that sparked in my little, tomboy, back then I was about 10 years old, mind, 'Hey, that looks fun!' He bought me games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I was really good at it and he was playing EQ so I tried it and I still love it. I am into medieval fantasy type games and sci-fi games.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest?
I ride horses and swim. I also like to skateboard. I love skiing and snowboarding. I love to read and write.

What is your highest level in EQ?
12, sadly. I like to explore and NOT die or face anything over my level without friends with me. I also play mostly on weekends but will play more because it's the summer!

What race and class is your main character?
Sebanu is a female Vah Shir beastlord.

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
Beastlords are so down to earth, or that's what I think. I just love the class because of the warder.

Does your main character worship a deity?
My character worships no one because Vah Shir are agnostic. I believe that if they were capable of having gods I would choose one of the more nature and neutral gods like Tunare or something like that.

How did you choose your main character's name?
Well, I used auto-choose, but then I did another name. Before I started playing the character, I looked up on EQ Players on how many people had the name Sebanu and surprisingly there were only about 3 people, so it seemed pretty rare. I went back to the character creation screen (I hadn't finished my character) and changed the name back.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Bard, Warrior, Enchanter, Rouge, and Ranger. I'm not into really melee type classes. I'm more into spell-casting ones.

What is your favorite expansion?
My favorite expansion is the Shadows of Luclin. It brought us the amazing race of Vah Shir and the beautiful world of Luclin!

What is your favorite zone?
My favorite zone is probably the Plane of Knowledge. There is no fightable npcs, which means that you don't have to worry about something attacking you. Plus, it reminds me of a HUGE castle. There is a gigantic library and the grass is actually pretty green there. It is where you can get a quest, no matter what race or class.

What is your favorite npc?
My favorite npc is my warder because it's there when you need it and gone when you don't. A very simple, easy to work creature. Also, it can grow in strength and doesn't die when you change zones. It doesn't need anything but mana to create it.

Which expansion do you like the least?
I dislike the Lost Dungeons of Norrath expansion the most. I think that it didn't do anything big, like add REALLY important new zones or new races or ways to do stuff in the game.

Which zone do you like the least?
I really don't dislike any zone, but there are some zones that are less fun to me than others. I'd have to say that the Northern Desert of Ro is not very fun for me cause I'm totally scared of dying there. That's probably only because I'm a level 12.

Which npc do you like the least?
I really dislike the mummies because they attack everything on sight and are extremely annoying. But that's what their supposed to be so I can't complain.

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
I spent 100 platinum for this dye I bought in the Bazaar. I accidentally bought 20 of them because I thought it was 100 pp for 20, but it was actually 100 per piece and I lost 2000 platinum. It's not a big deal because I have around 900 platinum now. Plus, there's nothing that I can buy for more than 50 platinum for my level.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
I keep around this hammer I got from the Mines of Gloomingdeep because it is a good weapon and is like memorabilia from the first 10 levels I spent there. It also comes in handy when my Kati Sha Recruit Claws aren't doing any good against an enemy.

What do you like best about EverQuest?
I love how the game is all swords, spells, and bows and arrows. There is no modern technology in it so you have to work hard at your profession to get higher-level kills. It adds fun to the game and you can interact with people from around the world (or at least the country)!

What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
I learn about non-technological weapons and it gives me ideas for my writing. It also passes time an adds fun during extremely boring do-nothing time days.

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
My friend and I went to a summer writing camp and the instructor told the class to write about anything you enjoy doing and turning it into a story. I wrote about EQ and got an amazing score for it.

Do you run or work for an EverQuest Fan Site?
I run a guild website: http://knightsillusion.euroguilds.com - me and my EQ buddy trade off the leader stat, so it might say he's leader or me, but this is my guild's website.
