Illusion distribution between classes - Discussion started by Community Member Zanderon
Since the global file seems to not have its old limitations and since there are several classes that can cast a few illusions, I think it would be nice to expand the way illusions are done (and not giving any class the LoN illusions).

Firstly, I think all classes that can "cast" illusions should be able to project them onto others. I know that this is a chanty-only ability, but it seems that if a rogue can "disguise" him/her self, they should be able to do it to others. Of course when cast they would not last as long (standard illusion duration, all classes that can illusion should have a "permanent illusion" type option like chanty/bard/rogues do).

19 is not longer enough. I currently have open a few tasks to work on the new Face Aug, AG faction Tasks, SoF spell faction tasks (there are 5 different factions I need to raise to get my spells), Sublime Symbol Task, Ultimate Story Task (to get key for MMM), Oil can task (or new charm), as well as a few TSS tasks to get warrior/king/hero disks and combined aug… TG I already have completed my TBS hand aug. Many of these tasks are long (Sublime Symbol, Ultimate Story, Oil Can,.etc.) My play time is limited and when I log on I am never sure where I can get a group. I like having as many tasks open as I can so that no matter WHERE I get a group I can work on some of them.

  • Convert the current player bank to use the same interface as the guild bank.

  • Dump the contents of all bank bags into this new bank.

  • Convert all bank bags into tokens and dump them into the bank, or make a shadowrest type npc to retrieve the bags.

  • Do the same thing with the shared bank, and increase the size. Too much stuff drops lately to pass it through the shared bank without relogging multiple times.

The interface for this could look similar to the guild bank window, with a larger selection area for the main bank, a smaller one for the shared bank in place of the deposit area, and without all of the extra stuff on the right side since it's not needed. At this point it's pretty trivial to fill a bank with 10 slot bags (either trader satchels or deluxe tool boxes), so it wouldn't really hurt anything to just remove the bag requirement and switch to this system. If this is doable via code, it'd be Good Stuff(tm).

Raid events and adds - Discussion started by Community Member -Kelefane-
Why does every single current end-game raid in EQ have adds? You would think by now that they would come up with something a bit more original. You can more or less expect adds on just about any raid event that you do these days. You can more or less go into an event blindly and say "expect adds!" and low and behold, adds spawn! Maybe its time to start adding something else to raids and not more of the same?

What are some fun classes and play-styles these days, given the new faces EQ has taken on? I do enjoy the melee classes, but solo'ing on them is very difficult anymore without twinking. What can be fun NOW, given the possibility of never being anything much? What class would be fun to play if I never made it past 30?
