Congratulations!
To the Winners of
EverQuest's "You're in Our World Now" Video Contest!

First Place – Grand Prize Winner:

    Oriaas

      Character:  Oriaas Farslayer
      Server:  The Tribunal
      Guild:  Sol Invictus

      Brotherhood
Friendships built in game often last a long time. I am still friends with people that I played EQ with years ago - even tough they have moved on to other things. You never know where your next friend may come from which is probably one of the things I like best about EQ. You never know who you will meet and you never know if you will still interact with them several years down the line.

While there are many aspects to the game, it seems that many people often forget that it is still a game. That means you need to stop and take a look around sometime and see what you've been missing.

      You're In Our World Now!
The scenes in the video change to the rhythm of the music. The video includes scenes from many different zones across a variety of expansions. The first scene is Nedaria's Landing and is simply the camera panning up to show to viewer the beautiful night sky. It is followed by a view of the ice bridge in Eastern Wastes and then proceeds to toggle back and forth between a descent on the bridge to: Lord Nagafen, Karnor's Castle, Velketor, and climaxing with a battle between Yelinak, Klandicar and Kerafyrm himself.

As the music changes slightly, the scene changes to that of the Combine Spires in Dreadlands. The camera pans up, showing a view of the moon, Luclin. The scene fades and you find yourself on Luclin, watching as the camera pans to the sky to show Norrath in full. There is then scene of a group in The Tenebrous Mountains fighting the Vampires. You then return to Nedaria's Landing for a view of the waterfall.

Continuing on, it takes you into Natimbi followed by Kod'Taz and eventually Yxtta where there is a battle with the Primal Insect. The next scene takes you across the bridge in Ashengate, passing the Dragon who's tears consist of lava. This is followed by a fight with a group and the Galvanized Guardian. The next scene shows a group in The Mechamatic Guardian and features the death animation of a steam-suit. Squire Zirkanamef in Crystallos is the next to fall and then finally a view of the whirl pool in The Buried Sea.

The background during the credits is the dance animation of the clockwork illusion in S.H.I.P.

      Character:  Grumpie Ogarfiend
      Server:  Cazic-Thule
      Guild:  Crimson Talon

      The Traveling Ogre
This little memento was produced Ogarfiend's Gnomalicious Production House in the span of four and a half hours. It's a snapshot of life in our guild named the Crimson Talon which plays on the Cazic Thule server. It's about how we come together to help each other out and enjoy EverQuest. It features a nice horse ride through what would seem ominous territory, but then the dangers looming ahead become very clear and visible. Follow the journey of an Ogre traversing the maze to help his fellow cleric finish an epic fight then be transported ahead to another plane of existence to meet up with the Fabled Lord Mithaniel Marr in a harrowing display of his arrogance. (music files used were Anguish, blackfeaatherroost, poffire, and thenest.mp3)
