When given a new task the window pops up but most often displays some other unrelated task. I need to find the chat text naming the task then search the list to find the right one. This typically involves scrolling and trying to remember whether an unmemorable article like "The" or "A" was first in the title.

Please make the newly assigned task the current one for display in the window.

Is offhand calculated same as main? I assume it is not, so what type of weapon works BEST in offhand? In offhand, would a 20dmg/20del 1hs weapon avg out the same dmg over time as a 40dmg/40del 1hs weapon? Do dmg bonuses effect offhand?

I was wondering if SOE has ever considered implenting social API allowing actions/events in EQ to be published outside of the game, beyond EQPlayers. I don't use EQplayers, and I acutally don't know anyone who does on a regular basis. Why would you log onto eqplayers on a daily/regular basis? However, I do know people who use facebook/myspace/bebo/etc. I think it would be an interesting thing to allow players to publish viral type messages in their social networks about their activities in game.

If you have ever used facebook for example, perhaps on ding, a feed would be sent out visible to that person's friends, saying so and so has gained a level and is now level 75! WIth some links to possibly the EQplayers website and that players profile. It would be an interesting way to keep up with the activities of friends in game, and additionally may pique the interest of non-playing friends to join in. I think this would be interesting not only for EQ but for other SOE games as well. It could be built to extend, and integrate across multiple social platforms that allow 3rd party applications, which is basically all the major players in the social networking area.

Raid Class Balance – Discussion started by Community Member Kacman
Keep in mind that I am a non-raider asking this question. But after reading all the threads for years and all the complaints on class balance, I would like to know the answer to this question.

If all things are equall, then raids should be balanced on a balance of all 16 classes. 54/16=3.375 Now should raids be balanced around 3 of each class? 3*16=48 and 54-48=6 therefore you could have 3 of each class and require the last 6 spots be filled by the core classes.

I feel that ALL raids should be tuned around 4 Warriors, rogues, beserkers, clerics, and wizzies. 3 each of the remaining 11 classes and one being a floater class or really just tune the 54 man raid around 53 with the last spot being a bonus to your raid force if you can field 54 toons.

Now if raids were really tuned around an equall mix of ALL 16 classes, then raids would be much easier if you just filled your raid force with all core classes.

As the subject question asks, What should raids be tuned for? NOT, What ARE they tuned for!
