Where in the real life world do you live?
Tucson, AZ

How long have you played EQ?
On and off since a couple month's before Luclin release.

What other MMOs have you played?
Ultima Online, Shadowbane, City of Heroes, EverQuest 2, and Worlds of Warcraft.

What type of work do you do?
Support for a server related software program.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
Any where from half an hour to 6 hour, based on available time and if anything is going on game.

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
Trying talk guildies into helping camp a quest item, in a quest designed by someone who hates the player base.

What was the race and class of your very first character?
Iksar ShadowKnight on a friend's account. When I got my own account, I was high enough to feel the effect of Iksar not being able to wear plate, yet not high enough to see it go away, so I made an Ogre Shadow Knight.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
A friend who showed me the game. Mostly RPG's prefer kind is table top.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest?
Hanging with friends.

What is your highest level in EQ?
Currently 71.

What race and class is your main character?
Ogre Shadow Knight.

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
The mental image that I'm a knight who oppresses others and rules by fear, hate and spite. Bending others to do my will, or I will kill there families and eat there children, while they watch.

Does your main character worship a deity?
Cazic-Thule

How did you choose your main character's name?
A joke based off the name of the Iksar SK I had on my friends account.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Paladin - Good is stupid.
Beastlord
Ranger - Rangers aren't for me.
Bard
Warrior
Monk
Berserker
Cleric - Why is it that only evil race that can choose this class is Dark Elves, Let Iksars be clerics.
Druid - Get enough of being underpowered at my primary job for imagery versatility that doesn't exist, but gets screamed about by people who complain anytime I get power increase at my main role as an SK, why bring this on myself from the healing end as well.
Enchanter - Enchanter isn't a fit for I.
Magician - I'm present at the keyboard more the 5% of my playing time and I pay attention, guess I'm not right for this class.
Necromancer - Just never felt like playing one, great class.

What is your favorite expansion?
Scars of Luclin, however Gates of Discord has been growing on me.

What is your favorite zone?
Vex Thal, getting keyed for there represented a reward for a lot of huge work.

What is your favorite NPC?
Vyzh'dra the Cursed

Which expansion do you like the least?
Dragons of Norrath - The faction aspect of this expansion was unneeded and caught up in the fade of other MMO's at the time and to punishes players that choose evil as there faction, since 90% of the casual player base you group with all defaulted to good. Also the earn point to buy loot in X expansion, is good when it's the currently expansion, but is awful when once the bulk of the player base moves on, this aspect really hurt Lost Dungeon of Norrath in the long run as well.

Which zone do you like the least?
Guild Lobby - CR were part of what makes this game fun, and if you are going allow cross zone summoning, it would have been better to give Necromancers and Shadow Knights a way to do this, rather then NPC. This would have encouraged player interacting with each other.

Which NPC do you like the least?
Corpse Summoners - they removed an already limited job for my class.

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
A couple huge K on an armor upgrade.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
Many, sk epic 1.0 because the quest was hard. I generally try to keep my no drop items, for the memories tied to them. Please increase our bank size again, I'm running out of room.

What do you like best about EverQuest?
That raw unpolished feel that newer MMO don't have. The game design encourages using creative new tactics, instead of being designed to force tactics XYZ. Also the community.

What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
A way to kill dead time and feel like I'm so far behind a curve I'll never catch up.

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
Teaming with an SK buddy and managing to die deep in all sorts of places we shouldn't have been, then figuring out how we are going to get our corpses back and then listening our cleric friends complain about having run half way across the game to rez us.

Do you run or work for an EverQuest Fan Site?
No.
