Bulletin Window and Keyboard Binding - Ideas shared by Community Member TheTrilobyteAB.
First Idea:
This follows much in the footsteps of 'AudioTriggers'. Sometimes when you're in a really busy fight or had to AFK you can miss an AT informing you of something.

What I propose is a 'Bulletins Window'. What it will do is trigger much like an AT from some text of the players choosing, and then leave a permanent news item in that window.

Beyond being an alternative to Audiotriggers I think this would solve a lot of the 'generic' problems with 'filter types'. It would allow players to have a custom 'filter' experience.

For me personally it would be a great way of keeping track of buffs as much as anything. But also on a raid fight, sometimes NPCs tactics switch at a certain stage and you could have a lingering bulletin of that.

Second Idea:
This may be impossible or too difficult to implement, I really don't know but. I would love to be able to bind a key that locks you out of typing.

Let me explain - As a tank, the best key setup for speed is to use WSAD. You may not agree with that, and that's fine. But I believe it is because the Q and E keys are in such easy reach from the WSAD position you can bind for instant 'Target Nearest or Scroll Target' to Q and 'Auto Attack' to E.

One of the biggest problems with this setup is you can be halfway thru typing a sentence when you need to react but you're locked in type mode and have to make some tricky-ish clicks to get out of it.

For my setup, I'd love to bind 'type-lock' to caps lock, so I have a visual record of its status, but it should be bindable.

Anyway, those are my ideas.

Bank Log – Idea shared by Community Member Dingo2.

Just out of curiosity, have there any plans or is there a way to view a log of what transactions have been done in the guild bank? For instance, soandso has withdrawn. It would be handy to have if your guild has multiple bankers.

Good versus Evil Factions – Discussion started by Community Member Xenow_Drinal.

I miss the times of having to sneak my evil characters through Freeport by way of the sewer.

I miss the times of attempting to raise my ogre twink's faction with Kelethin by hunting in Crushbone.

I miss the times of necromancer and shadow knights being outcasts, even in some of the evil cities.

While it's certainly nice that all characters are welcome in POK and many of the newer zones, it annoys me that the extent of faction seems to be farming for specific items, as opposed to it having meaningful interaction with NPCs in towns.

I have a 70 Iksar necromancer now and I've never once felt restricted in where I could go / hunt / sell due to my race/class combo (iksar necromancer).

Likewise, with my up and coming paladin, I don't feel particularly like a welcome hero of good standing with towns, as it simply doesn't seem to matter.

It just seems like some of the immersion is lost in this manner.

Bazaar and Guild Hall – Ideas shared by Community Member Majormer_Telemancer.

Guild Hall: What are the doors upstairs for? Would it be too hard to have a port to the bazaar from our guild hall so we don't have to run through the guild lobby and PoKnowledge? That zone time discourages me to make combines for people when I need a component from the bazaar due to the PoK zone alone.

Bazaar: Could we possibly have a mechanism that would allow us to put items for sale into a persistent auction (similar to the EQ2 system)? I understand that it is a perk to have people logged in with second or third accounts in the bazaar 24/7, but would it be too much to ask that I can turn my computer off at night, or reduce my electric bill without having to worry that someone looking for my goods won't find them on? It bothers me that my computer heats my house to the extent it does when I am running a 3D application in standby mode.

These two things, while perhaps exclusive to each other, are two ideas that bug me every time I think about the EQ economy. I can only imagine the number of goods for sale and the competition for them if more people could post sales without having to leave a computer on all night. And the run to the Bazaar is something I resent personally.
