Rome, GA

How long have you played EQ?
8 years

What other MMOs have you played?
City of Heroes/Villains, World of Warcraft, Dark Age of Camelot

What type of work do you do?
I am an EMT, currently in school pursuing my paramedic license.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
4-6 hours

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
I usually will check my banker first, browse the bazaar for about 10 minutes. Next, I will log in my rogue, say hi to the guild, and toss on LFG. While LFG I can usually find various things to entertain (or kill) myself until I get a guild or pick up group. Following a little XP, I will grab a raid invite about 7:30 p.m. EST, and be off to hit the first target of the night by 8. Usually by 11 p.m. I will take a sleeping aid. By the time raids are called for the night, I'm usually fairly incoherant, and have lost about 5% XP from dying uncontrollably ~ Then it's off to bed!

What was the race and class of your very first character?
Wood Elf, Rogue. Teferri was actually the first character I ever created.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
I've always been a gamer to some extent. Growing up I enjoyed various board games, card games, and video games. One of my fondest memories is of the day my family got a NES! Then, in my teenage years, I played way too much Magic, as well as computer gaming. What truely turned me on to MMO games was a fairly popular MUD I played for a good many years, known as Realms of Despair.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing EverQuest?
I still play Magic from time to time, as well as console gaming. Outside of gaming, I make a concious effort to exercise daily, be it biking, playing Wii, or just simple push-ups and sit-ups. Recently a lot of my extra time has been devoted to studying, however. (Do drug calculations count as a hobby?)

What is your highest level in EQ?
85

What race and class is your main character?
Wood Elf / Rogue

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
The ability to freely go where others can't! And poisons, I love the recent poison revamp.

Does your main character worship a deity?
No

How did you choose your main character's name?
It is a spelling variation of a character from Magic: The Gathering lore.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Enchanter, Bard, Shadow Knight, Beastlord, Berserker

What is your favorite expansion?
Velious. I loved the opposing factions and in-depth quests it brought to the game. Plus it has lots of dragons to kill. Mmmm, dragons...

What is your favorite zone?
East Commonlands (pre-revamp). I have a lot of fond memories of hanging out in the EC tunnel.

What is your favorite NPC?
Sirran the Lunatic. The bunnies are angry! ANGRY I TELL YOU!!

Which expansion do you like the least?
Gates of Discord

Which zone do you like the least?
The new Bazaar

Which NPC do you like the least?
a jester of bristlebane

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
200k for a darkened FBSS for my rogue, because I needed an overhaste item!

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
Lots of items. Ragebringer, Armguard of Shadows, Massive Heartwood Thorn, Claw of Lightning, just to name a few.

What do you like best about EverQuest?
The fact that I'm playing with other people

What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
A cheap source of never ending entertainment!

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
Clearing Veeshan's Peak (1.0). From the time I started playing, I was always fascinated by the zone, and it's dangers. Clearing it gave me a feeling of coming full circle in EQ. From only being able to imagine such a far off and dangerous place, to actually conquering it.
