What put the "Quest" in EverQuest for you? - Discussion started by Community Member isaiah655

Just wondering, having finished a recent old quest and noting the lack of really good and involved quests of late, what are some of your favorite quests? Addendum: If you care to spare a few thoughts, what was it about the quest that made it good?

New Spell Style Concept: Echo - Discussion started by Community Member Zanderon

I was bored today, sipping coffee, and thinking of some of my favorite events and mechanics in the game. I started thinking about some of the fun viral effects in the game, like the viral charm on the mage 2.0 hit. Then it came to me… what if there were viral buffs? Of course "viral" sounds bad, but with the underground theme of Underfoot, Echo would sound better.

Classes could have echo's that would be similar to some of their short-term auras or abilities, and the echo would be able to affect any nearby PC's or friendly NPCs (bad for PVP, good for raids/groups). The echoes would have to have a very small range for the viral effect, but would have the chance to continue spreading for a nearly unlimited amount of time if the players were in a tight clump and didn't move (making them situational). The buffs should last about 30 seconds, and pulse 35 seconds after landing, meaning no one player would have the buff continually.

Some examples of class echoes:

  • Enchanter: Echo of augmentation. Increases the damage of spells and melee attacks by 10%

  • Cleric: Echoing voice of Vie. Reduces melee damage by 5%

  • Shaman: Echo of the growling panther. Allows your melee attacks to proc damage.

  • Paladin: Echoing blessing of Marr. Increases health regen by 70 points per tick.

Seeds of Destruction: Movie - Discussion started by Community Member Quarken-xx

Kind of! As something of tradition (don't ask about Crystallos) we at Triality put together an end-of-expansion SoD movie. It's typical of our usual movies, a bunch of clips wrestling with an Andrew W.K. song. Anyway, if you're into this sort of thing, please enjoy!

Edit: Finally got it on YouTube if you prefer that option. The quality is not as good on YouTube but its there. YouTube: Here

Bunny Familiars - Discussion started by Community Member tecdor

A simple thought in mind I had, something I never seen happen before that I believe should happen if people love it, would we see bunny familiars in the near future?
