Meet Illusionist Innania the Ultimate Illusionist

Server: Maelin Starpyre

Guild: Appotus Dominus

Where in the real life world do you live?
Winter Haven, FL (About 30 miles SW of Orlando)

How long have you played EQ?
Since June of 2001

What other MMOs have you played?
CoH, EQ2, WoW, Free Realms

What type of work do you do?
Resort concierge at a major tourist attraction.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
4+ hours on work nights. Off days, who knows!

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
If I log on early enough before raids or on an off night, I'll work on alts, grind AA, work on gear, do quests, or just bug people :-p

What was the race and class of your very first character?
Innania was the first character that got past level 10, and she's a High Elf (sometimes) Enchanter.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
I always liked fantasy-themed games.  Adventure games like Zelda, Secret of Mana, etc. were my favorites.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing EverQuest?
Movie collecting, yardwork, and going out to clubs with friends.

What is your highest level in EQ?
85

What race and class is your main character?
High Elf Enchanter

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
I love illusions.  Ever since I bought the level 1 Minor Illusion on Innania I've been obsessed.  I have most available in-game illusions for my toon. :)

Does your main character worship a deity?
She follows Tunare.  It made a few things difficult back in the old cities, but I'm still glad I made that choice :)

How did you choose your main character's name?
It's a variant of the name of a Sumerian goddess.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Ranger, Shaman, bezerker, beastlord, monk.

What is your favorite expansion?
Seeds of Destruction, for the lore.

What is your favorite zone?
I'll probably get a lot of hate for this, but I loved Katta Castrum.  I love how whoever designed that zone followed the old lore about Atlantis, and there was a wide range of mobs to fight.  It was a huge zone, but the portal quest made travelling around it very easy.  In general that zone had a great variety of content while also having all of the convenience of a city.

What is your favorite NPC?
Prince Thirneg and his phat lootz $$$

Which expansion do you like the least?
LDoN.  It really seemed to cut back on the player to player interactions.

Which zone do you like the least?
Sirens Grotto.  Much hate for that zone.

Which NPC do you like the least?
Varsoon the Undying.

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
105k for a fast mount, until I got my free LoN mount :)

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
My staff of Endless Adventure.  I only use it for holidays, but I love it :)

What do you like best about EverQuest?
The overwhelming size of the game.  Not just physical zones, but the variety of the content and the great community make the game much better than anything else I've tried.

What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
Friends, stress relief, and just general enjoyment :)

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
The raid of Chardok back in '02 or '03 for the epic drops for myself and a few others.  There are people from that raid that I still know (and I'm even still guilded with some of them).
