Raising melee skills - Discussion started by Community Member Matthias

I am working on raising my melee skills (caster)...defense, dodge, one hand bashing, etc.

My skills are in the high 100s now...but they are rising VERY slowly...I am hitting/getting hit by mainly light blues.  Is there an easier way to raise combat skills?  What is the best way of raising throwing skill?

And I see I have a Remove Trap skill (in green) of 1.  How do I raise this?

The reason I am asking is because I used to play some years ago on the Innoruuk/The Nameless server and I'm thinking about returning....maybe by tomorrow or in a couple of days....
