In the beginning, Cazic-Thule, also known as the Faceless One, was quick to discover Norrath. Though a few deities had already placed their spawn upon the world, Cazic-Thule much preferred the swamps and marshes. It was there he created beings such as trolls, Shissar, and all manner of lizard like creatures, including iksars. Cazic's followers and creations all fear him above all else. They also seek to instill fear in others in hopes of winning the God of Fear's favor.
After ages of ruling over his realm, the Faceless One finally met his end. His power seemingly disappeared for a time, making the fellow deities of Norrath very nervous. However, now the power of Cazic has returned and is running rampant across the lands.
Worshippers of Cazic-Thule are now gathering arms and preparing to take revenge on Norrath for their lord's demise. Denizens of Povar and Firiona Vie have already put a halt to the invasion on their worlds. Will Xegony be just as triumphant, or will it fall into ruin and fear?
