So now that you're back in EverQuest do you find yourself saying, "This is so great! I'm finding lots of old friends I want to keep up with," or, "The pick-up group I just played with was awesome. I want to stay in touch with all of those players! How do I do that?" If so, this handy guide will help you out.

When you make friends in EverQuest, you can add them to your friends list. Open the Friend panel by clicking the "Friends" tab on Windows selector, or by pressing Alt+F.

There are two ways to add someone to your friends list:

  • Enter their name in the "Friend" field and click the "Add" button
  • Type /friend <name> in your chat bar

You can remove players from your list by selecting their name and clicking the "Delete" button.

The "Contact" and "Who" buttons are shortcuts to make it a little easier to use your friends list.

  • Contact: Starts a /tell to the friend that you have selected from the list.
  • Who: You can use this to find out if your friends are on line. It can be used two ways.
    • You can select a friend from the list and click "Who" and it will give you the /who information on that character only.
    • Or you can click on "Who" with no names selected and it will give you the /who information for the entire list.
