The Shadowed Road to Fan Faire

Part 1 – Remembering the Past and Planning the Future

"Hey Zatozia, are you ready for Fan Faire?" a voice said as it sneaked its way in to The Torture Chamber.

"How many times do I have to say it? I don't want to be disturbed!" She yelled as she turned around to see the face behind the voice.

"Umm Zatozia, what are you doing?"

"Oh!" She blew out the flame on the torch and greeted him, "Hi Grimwell, I didn't know it was you."

"Hey Zatozia! I'm sorry to disturb but aren't you suppose to be working on EQ projects for the Fan Faire?"

"I am," she says with a smirk. "You know, I remember My 2007 Fan Faire Adventure like it was yesterday. All the activities throughout the day and in the evenings. I even recall several people trying to throw Merloc and Prathun into the pool! Good times."

"So what have you done so far?" He questioned as he glanced up at the skeleton in the cage.

She pulled out a notepad from under a pile of paperwork and pointed to a checklist. "Here's everything that I have done so far."

Live Quest Documentation – Storyline and Basic documentation done. The next stage of this will be done very soon. I also questioned collected feedback from the community on previous ones.

Best of the Best Plans – This is basically done as well. I submitted the main plans and I'm working on a few additions to it for this year based on the feedback I received.

Development Activities – As mentioned in the EQBlog, the dev team is working on spicing up their panels this year.

Other Activities – Going along with some of the overall activities planned for the event, I'm working on a few other projects of my own.

"That's great. I'm glad to see that you are getting those things done. I am a bit puzzled though. How does torturing a skeleton fit into the Fan Faire plans?"

"Grimwell… you may be better off not knowing the answer to that question," she exclaimed as she smiled with an evil grin and pointed at a dark book with a skull on the cover.
