Frostfell Overview

As the air starts to chill and the frost begins to cover the ground, Frostfell 2010 begins. Several of your fellow Norrathians have made their way to the major cities and the Plane of Knowledge and are search of adventurers willing to help them with their holiday tasks.

Frostfell will be celebrated throughout Norrath and beyond from December 8, 2010 through January 8, 2011. Various activities and events will be available at different intervals throughout the season, so make sure you're ready to join in the fun on day one.

New Frostfell Adventures

Operation: Jolliness and Gathering Holiday Cheer
The holiday season can sometimes be fairly traumatic for Santug Claugg. He has been kidnapped so many times, and Frostfell keeps getting ruined, hijacked, and put into a life-and-death crisis year after year. Santug has finally sunken into a horrible melancholy and has declared that Frostfell has been cancelled this year. The ol' ogre is now grumpy and has decided to get drunk and lay off all of the Gigglegibber goblins and lie in bed for the rest of the holiday season, feeling sorry for himself.

Concerned about Frostfell, and more importantly the effect the cancellation will have on the Gigglegibber finances, Kuutas Gigglegibber has decided to enlist the assistance of adventurers of the 10th to 90th seasons to help with their plan of getting Santug to feel more like his old self again.

Past Frostfell Adventures

    Santug Claugg
It wouldn't be Frostfell without a cheerful visit from good old Santug Claugg, the kind-hearted ogre.

Frostfell Goblins and Saving Santug: Alas, it seems that there is some Santug trouble and his goblins have gone to each city in Norrath looking for those who will help save their boss from the evil clutches of the Grinnuuch. Talk to one of Santug's Frostfell Goblins and help save Frostfell!

Santug's Snow Dwarves: Someone has been kidnapping the toy-making snow dwarves working for Santug, the happy ogre who delivers toys to good Norrathian girls and boys. The dwarves have been taken to various places throughout Norrath, to stop Frostfell from happening. Without enough toys, Santug cannot bring Frostfell cheer to Norrath. Talk to Zoog in the Great Divide to help with the rescue efforts.

Freezkorr's Lair: Santug Claugg and some of the Gigglegibber goblins have been captured by Freezkorr, the leader of the Frostclaw goblin clan. Maynar Furrwik has traveled to the Plane of Knowledge in search of a rescue party.

If Frostfell is saved, Santug will finally be able to give out his gifts to all of Norrath.

      Distraught Parents
Good parents save up their money all year long in order to get gifts for their children on Frostfell. But for several families in the Plane of Knowledge there will be no gifts - someone has stolen them! Kind-hearted adventurers of level 55 to 64, 65 to 74, and 75 and over who want to help these families should speak to Elba Straw or one of the other distraught parents in the Plane of Knowledge.

      Frostfell Fireworks
Fabdabus is in charge of the fireworks show for Frostfell; however, his shipment of fireworks was stolen. He suspects that the grimps are responsible for stealing the fireworks and hiding them in dungeons so that Fabdabus would have a difficult time getting them back. Help Fabdabus reclaim his firework shipment in time for Frostfell.

      Frostfell Feast
Harger is preparing a feast for Frostfell. Even the best chefs find they need a little assistance from time to time in order to have a perfectly-timed feast. Harger asks for help gathering special rare fish and making various baked goods for the Frostfell feast.

      The Gift Exchange
Later in the season, Santug Claugg will need further assistance from helpful adventurers. A mean old scrooge gnome, Ebenizer, holds the key to making a sick child's Frostfell special. Help Santug get a one of a kind "Clockwork Dolly" from Ebenizer and make this little one's Frostfell bright. He will also need someone to help him track down his naughty and nice list.

    New Year's Adventures

A new year is nearly upon the inhabitants of Norrath and everyone has a different idea of what that means. Some people are celebrating the fresh start, while others are cautious of impending doom.

      All You Need is Luck
Pizmip Nobbletod, a paranoid gnome, is convinced that the end of the year coincides with the end of the world. According to the ancient Akhevan calendar, Luclin will fall from the sky and crash into the land, annihilating all that live on Norrath. Pizmip is certain the only thing that can save you now is luck, and offers a list of things one can do to improve their luck.

      Time for a Change
Kilna Odenburgh has traveled to the Plane of Knowledge in search of help for the village where her family resides. She believes that several of the villagers need a bit of motivation to keep their resolutions.

M.C. Tinkerton and his Clockwork Party Machine
To ring in the New Year, M.C. Tinkerton and his Clockwork Party Machine are back. The party machine's dance gyroscopes, firework cannons and party favor dispensers are fully functional, but the most important piece, the machine's primary party motivator, was stolen again! M.C. Tinkerton seeks adventurers to steal back the primary party motivator from the Dark Mistletoe giants, a grouchy clan of frost giant nomads in the Great Divide. Seek out M.C. Tinkerton in the Plane of Knowledge for further details.

Happy Holidays from the EverQuest Team!
