What other MMOs have you played?
None

What type of work do you do?
Construction, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America - Mid Atlantic District

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
3-4 hours. 7pm to 11pm EST

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
Raiding is my priority then Quests. I tend to go with the flow, whatever the fellowship needs. I like to do the newest content if in a well balanced party.

What was the race and class of your very first character?
Wood Elf Ranger - Chett is my only character, and EverQuest was the last video game I ever purchased.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
I'm a product of the 80's, I think most of my generation played Atari games in arcades for Quarters.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest?
Strength training, cardio, cooking, international travel, reading historical books (specifically WWII), socializing at bars, riding my Victory Vegas, and taking Mail order brides to Exotic Tropical Islands for Vacation.

What is your highest level in EQ?
Eighty Five

What race and class is your main character?
Wood Elf Ranger

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
Rangers have the best non plate tanking abilities, and are the highest DPS of the hybrids. The class also brings a lot of utility to a party, and has the ability to solo productively if friends are not online, or if playtime is strictly limited.

Does your main character worship a deity?
Sure

How did you choose your main character's name?
Good Question

What other characters do you play often?
None

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Until the Old Man Mackenzie missions were added in 2009, I had never played another class.

What is your favorite expansion?
Depths of Darkhollow - The lore behind this expansion was one of the best in the game. The first vampire in all of Norrath, a major antagonist to the storyline for years, finally appears in game as a NPC character who players can kill. Despite the GM appearances, for players to finally be able to kill Mayong, and when they do, the Vampire becomes a deity and wreaks havoc on the pantheon… I mean come on, that's a great story!

What is your favorite NPC?
Dr. Who ~ Yes. He appears in the game! In the lobby… no kidding.

Which expansion do you like the least?
Gates of Discord

Which zone do you like the least?
Burned Woods... Skater Gnome is the rulest!!11!

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
I spent 1.3 million in the Shadowhaven casino trying to get the dark elf clicky illusion mask. But I eventually ran out of platinum and never got the mask. Today my ranger lives hand to mouth with the forage button.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
Tolan's Darkwood bracer. I don't know why I keep this thing. Endless Quiver was one of the first Alternate Advancement Abilities I purchased back in 2001, and I could have destroyed it then. I guess the ability to summon arrows was invaluable to me after always having to fletch my own arrows in order to use ranged attack.

What do you like best about EverQuest?
I like the current dev team. They listen to positive ideas on the forums and implement some of them into the game. Thank You Elidroth for Flusterbolt. Now I have ghetto root insurance for the years ahead, as total account subscriptions continue to drop, and groups become less than the ideal.

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
I won the best of the best competition in 1999 and am the proud owner of an Oakwynd Bow. Psyke, that never happened.

Do you run or work for an EverQuest Fan Site?
Negative

Way back on Dec. 2001 I posted a link to my web page, and believe it or not I became a celebrity @ the Rangers Glade, (a website that no longer exists). I was approached and known by other famous rangers because of it. Rangers are one of the coolest classes in EverQuest, I'm convinced we make up an artificial majority on total subscriptions, because everyone has a ranger alt, if they admit it or not.

I'm a longtime player of a single class and I couldn't help but wave my own banner. Who doesn't love to talk about themselves?

Gnoll, Orc, or Goblin?
What???
